Ricky is a 4-year-old, ~20-pound sweetheart who’s ready to find his forever home. He can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—he warms up quickly and turns into an absolute cuddle bug. Once he trusts you, he’s all about snuggles, playtime, and a good game of fetch.
He’s a pro on a leash, does great in the car, and gets along well with other dogs. We’re not sure how he feels about cats yet. He’s both crate trained and doggy-door trained, making him an easy addition to a home with an established routine.
When Ricky first arrived, he had some allergy flare-ups, but those are now well controlled on a salmon and sweet potato diet only—he’s doing great with it.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who’s equal parts playful and snuggly, Ricky might just be your perfect match.
