Susan Butler has been the Director of Operations for Az Pug Life Rescue for the past six years. Before taking on this role, she joined the rescue as a volunteer and quickly became an important member of the team. When Elsa, the previous Director of Operations, retired in June 2018, Susan was the clear choice to take over.
Susan's passion for pugs and other brachycephalic breeds is evident in everything she does for the rescue. She has a heart of gold and is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that each and every dog in her care is healthy, happy, and loved. From bottle-fed puppies to senior dogs, Susan takes care of them all.
As the leader of the rescue, Susan is responsible for everything from coordinating with veterinarians to managing the volunteers who help care for the dogs. She is a natural leader who inspires those around her with her tireless dedication and unwavering commitment to the rescue's mission.
