TO SURRENDER A PUG
TO REPORT A PUG IN NEED:
Each pug surrendered to the rescue is taken to a licensed veterinarian and given a full medical evaluation, so that it can receive any medical care needed. All of our rescued pups are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on routine vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies Vaccinations), microchipped, and tested for the three major tick-borne diseases (Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis, Lyme disease), and Heartworm. The pug is then placed with an approved foster home where they are cared for and evaluated.
Pugs are placed with a loving family that has submitted their adoption application and been through an extensive interview process. The adoption process is lengthy and our guidelines for placement are strict. This will ensure that the pug and their new adoptive family are a perfect match for each other.
